A New Era for American Tailoring

October 12th, 2016

We’re baaaaccckkkkkkkk!!! And better than ever.

Thank you for your patience, and continued support. After several months of blood, sweat and tears poured out by our team during this development, I am very excited to present The New American Tailor Shop.

Here’s a quick walkthrough to get you acquainted with our shop’s new features.

Browse The AoS Collection

Our Fall 2016 Collection is now online and available (all fabrics are limited in quantity, as always!).

You can browse our collection by garment category (Suits, Shirts, Outerwear, Tuxedos, Jackets, Trousers, Vests) and further filter your search by Season, Color and Pattern.

Find Your Fabric

In addition to our seasonal collections, we now also offer hundreds of “off the menu” fabrics that you can use to design your perfect garment.

For each of our hand-selected fabrics (such as our “Crimson Blizzard Flannel” milled by Ariston, shown below) we provide a hi-resolution swatch and an in-depth description, in addition to the weight, origin and fabric composition.

Design Your Garment

Our collection designs are meant to be used as inspiration and a jumping-off point. Every garment and fabric that we offer can be customized to your personal preferences. Simply click the “Customize & Add to Bag” button and you become the designer.

During the design process, the mannequin display will change to reflect each design option you’ve selected.

Stylist Pairing Recommendations

Every garment we cut for you is meant to add to your personal “capsule wardrobe“. That’s why on every fabric page we hand-select pairings, to help you plan your next purchase(s) and stay focused on building a versatile wardrobe with garments that can be tastefully mixed-and-matched. For example, for every suit we hand-pick the shirts, overcoats, jackets and trousers that can be paired with it…

Because we’re not just your personal tailor, we’re also your personal stylist.

Save Items In Your Bag for Later

You can checkout one item from your bag at a time (“Checkout Item”), which means you can save garments in your bag for later. Think of your AoS bag as a virtual “wish list” and wardrobe planner.

Let the Games Begin!

Thanks, as always, for reading.

Yours in style,
